The Norwegian flag was designed in 1821. It is based on the Danish flag, the Dannerbrog, marking the union with the kingdom of Denmark from 1397 until 1814. The blue cross symbolizes the union between Norway and Sweden from 1814 until 1905!
Fjords are a natural miracle mostly found in Norway and are considered as national landmarks. Fjords are a long,narrow sea inlet with steep sides or cliffs, created by a glacier Fjords exist on the coasts of Antartica, the Arcitc, and surrounded landmasses of the northern and southern hemispheres. Norway's coastline is estimated to be 29000km (1800miles) long with its nearly 1200 Fjords, but only 2500km (1600 miles) long excluding Fjords
Oslo is the capital of Norway as well as the most famous and the biggest city of the nation with a population of approximately 1.010.000 citizents. Contrary to other capitals it is obvious that it is a much smaller in population and probably in size with just 454.20 square kilometers. Oslo like every capital from all around the world has a unique beauty. Not only Oslo is beautiful but all the other cities are considered aesthetic!
